HCM Public Security System Upgrade

Ho Chi Minh City's Public Security system faced significant challenges in keeping up with the increasing demands of urbanization and modern transportation. Recognizing these challenges, 3onedata partnered with local authorities to implement an advanced and cost-effective Public Security solution.

The system upgrade included deploying industrial-grade PoE media converters such as IPMC2001-2GPOE-1GS, SWB1550Di20-1310, SWB1310Di20-1550, SWB1550Di40-1310, SWB1310Di40-1550, Model3011S, and the now-retired RACK2000B. These devices efficiently gathered video and image data from multiple surveillance cameras installed throughout the city. The collected data was then seamlessly transmitted to the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MOTC) monitoring center.

This upgrade resulted in enhanced data collection efficiency, which improved the overall performance of the surveillance system. The centralized monitoring system allowed for real-time decision-making, ensuring timely responses to incidents. Additionally, the RACK2000B's multiple media converter slots simplified the cabling process, significantly streamlining deployment in server rooms and cabinets.
